This, and I would love to see how the story would read

if Jacob would have just let God work it out.

So I understand that God said that the younger is to serve the elder

and none of that happened without this little plot twist

that we have here.

So I understand that.

But by tradition, it was Esau's blessing.

Right.

Esau was not being unreasonable to be infuriated by the fact that Jacob had deceived him.

And Jacob knew that he was deceiving.

That was the primal concern,

is that when I get there,

he shall know that I am deceiving.

Or it shall seem to him.

Yeah.

And he was.
