When we focus on regeneration, we recognize that there's an already but not yet sense of regeneration.

So when we get the Holy Ghost, we are new creatures. We are made new. We have the blood, the water, the spirit.

We can get in all that as we progress. But our bodies are still groaning

as the earth itself groans for the purchase possession of that which has been redeemed.

So Paul makes the statement, O wretched man that I am. That's the tension that he's living in.

That's so he is dealing with the tension of cosmic regeneration.
