There is a response to both of those seasons of life, if you will. I know how to be abased,

and I know how to abound. Not everybody can handle abundance. No, that's the truth. Not everybody.

Paul's saying, I had to learn this. What else did he say? I'm instructed both to be

full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ.

The context of a scripture that we cherry pick often as Christians, I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.

And we almost use it at moments like, I can cast devils out and I can this and I can,

but the context of it is learning how regardless of what state you find yourself in in life.

You know, it's possible to have a ministry that's in want,

and then to have a ministry that abounds.

It's possible to have a church that is in want,

that goes through a season of lack,

and then have one that abounds.
