So you brought up Jesus.

Jesus was not normal.

He was not.

He was not.

And he didn't even have to tell people that he was abnormal,

but people right away began to notice.

They detected it.

They did.

And I don't think we have to put signs outside our church that say we're not normal either.

Or do stupid things to make us abnormal.

I believe in the same way that you could sense it when you were around Jesus.

All right, let's go to his first synagogue appearance post temptation in the wilderness.

He comes out in the power of the spirit.

He picks up the scroll in the presence of everyone that was gathered there that day.

And he begins to read, and he says,

The Spirit of the Lord is upon me

because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel

to the poor, he sent me to heal the brokenhearted.
