Right, so I'm thinking of the scripture where he said old things are passed away.

And behold.

But yet, if I was addicted to eating, you know, chocolate bars, does it mean I'm just throwing that out there?

Keep it to drugs.

Okay.

If I was addicted to terrible drugs, would that mean everything just goes away and I don't have any problems anymore with salvation?

There's got to be a long-term thing there that lines up. Process. Yeah. So here's how salvation impacts you. Old things pass away. That's instant.

Behold all things become new. That's not instant. There is nothing instantaneous about becoming.

Wow. Yeah. That's right.

Becoming screams process. Process. Socoming screams, process.

Process.

So the beauty of salvation is that you come as a drug addict, you come as an alcoholic,

you come from an abusive background, you come with your oppression.

And at that moment, salvation cuts every one of those ties off of you in an instant.

That's right. I believe that. It's right. But going forward, the new you is a becoming process.

That's the discipleship. That's what keeps you welcome with God day to day.

That's what keeps you coming to Bible study.

That's what keeps you coming to discipleship,
