Bryan Kohberger is set to start trial in August 2025, and Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is set for trial in May 2025. It’s unlikely that Diddy will go to trial in May as scheduled due to the amount of digital evidence in the case. Diddy is still trying to be released from custody and is asking to have his appeal argued in early November. Even when cases go to trial, it doesn’t mean they are done as Alec Baldwin has been learning. Prosecutor Kerri Morrissey is still pursuing her motion to have the court reconsider dismissing Baldwin’s case with prejudice. That isn’t set for hearing yet. Hopefully, we will get a hearing date soon. In a surprise move that avoids a trial altogether the CFO of Girardi Keese, Christopher Kamon, took a plea deal and pleaded guilty on October 11th, 2024, with a sentencing date not set yet. 0:35.7	First up, Sarah Boone was supposed to be starting trial in Florida, October 7th,
0:40.1	but due to Hurricane Milton, her trial got delayed by a week so jury selection will be
0:45.8	starting today October 14th because of the hurricane courts were closed they didn't
0:51.2	want to start jury selection, and the last day they
0:54.3	were in court, which was October 7th, the prosecution offered and formalized a
0:58.7	plea deal on the record, which Sarah Boone rejected. That plea deal would have given her 15 years,
1:05.0	but she has been in since 2020.
1:08.0	So over four years without any added time.
1:13.3	So even with 85%, she would have been well
1:16.7	over five years served and then would be serving 85%
1:20.8	of that 15.
