0:47.1	I did a brief overview of the Commonwealth versus Karen Reed.
0:52.1	It is a case out of Massachusetts
0:53.7	that is getting ready to go to trial.
0:55.0	They are in jury selection currently
0:58.1	and they have the alternates left to go.
1:00.9	So they will resume court on Monday, April 22nd and we will see when they
1:06.3	seat those last four alternates. Jury selection went quicker than I
1:10.6	anticipated. The court has told the jurors that this case
1:13.7	could last up to eight weeks, but keeping in mind that the court is going to
1:18.1	keep Fridays for administrative days and do half court days on Tuesday and Thursday,
1:22.0	so it's really only three court days a week when you look at it.
1:25.6	That case, the defendant, Karen Reed, is accused of killing her boyfriend,
1:29.7	Officer John O'Keefe, by striking him with her vehicle and then leaving him out in a snowstorm to die.
