Last week the trial of Hannah Gutierrez, the armorer on the set of Rust, ended. She was convicted of Involuntary Manslaughter and acquitted of Tampering with Evidence. Gutierrez was remanded into custody right after the conviction and will likely be sentenced in April.

On the podcast, I talked about Rachel Leviss suing Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval for invasion of privacy, revenge porn, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

Rachel spends the majority of the lawsuit detailing her horrible experiences on the set of Vanderpump Rules. Will it survive a motion to dismiss? Will this case settle? I'll be following this closely and provide updates!

First, the 10-day Russ trial came back with a verdict in less than two hours, and when they interviewed

0:55.8

one of the jurors, we understood why.

0:58.2

That juror worked at the local Los Alamos, nuclear facility, and had a commercial driver's license and talked about how important

1:07.3

safety is to all of the work that he does and I had to wonder how many jurors in this location in New Mexico

1:17.6

felt the same way because at the end of the day what the state proved in the trial even though they added a lot of stuff

1:24.8

that I think they could have cut but at the end of the day they proved that

1:30.6

Hannah was the armorer she was responsible for loading the gun.

1:35.0

They had very strong circumstantial evidence that the

1:39.0

ammo on set that ended up containing the live round was ammunition that Hannah herself brought on to set.

1:46.5

And the best witness the state put up by far was Hannah. Her police interviews were the strongest evidence against her because

1:56.8

there wasn't much her defense attorney could do to argue that she wasn't

2:01.0

responsible for these guns, that Sarah Zachary was also loading guns.

2:05.0

Because what she told police in her interviews were, safety is my responsibility, that's my job.

And I wish I would have checked them more and I was using this box of
