Summary

In the wake of the Uvalde shooting, scrutiny over the inadequate police response at the scene continues to grow. New details come to light; the Uvalde school police chief who led the response to the massacre is revealed to have not had a police radio on the scene, a fourth grade survivor is preparing to testify before Congress next week, and The New York Times publishes a transcript of a Uvalde student’s call to 911: “I don’t want to die”. Plus, the attack in Buffalo leaves a neighborhood without a grocery store, a grand jury indicts former Trump adviser Peter Navarro, and new evidence in the Madeleine McCann case points to the suspected killer.
