We're just so delighted and honored that you have joined us here at the beginning of November.

It's a beautiful time of the year for me Samantha. I love this fall time of the year and I'm so

happy that you all are with us tonight on the first of our two monthly Q&As. We were so busy

last month with spooky stories that we sort of delayed our question and answer episodes.

So we're going to run two of them back to back because we have so many questions for you all.

So sit back if it's comfortable for you to do so with a nice cup of tea and let's get started.

Talk it about all of the questions that you folks have sent us. Samantha would you like to start us off?

I sure would. We've got so many great questions and stories to share with you this month. Our first

one says hi Devon Samantha I'm a long time listener and as I've said in the past I feel like I know

you two wonderful women. I adopted a kitten over 20 years ago and gave her to my now husband for a

Christmas gift. That kitty would see us through marriage the birth of three sons and a couple of

moves. The time came about a year ago to put her to sleep. We struggled for months with this

difficult decision. My husband couldn't do it. I finally got the courage to take her to the vet

and put our little husband to sleep. I don't think I will ever be able to do it again with another

animal. I struggled with guilt after it was over. I know it is supposedly a selfless act and it was

to relieve her of all the pain she was in but I just didn't feel right about it. I began to talk

to Aspen and I told her that I was so sorry and hoped she was happy and at peace. I asked her for

a sign that she was okay and intuitively all I got was purple purple. It was just a strong sense of

something purple. I couldn't make sense of it in one about my day. Later as I was reading brown

bear to my infant son as I did very often it all clicked in an instant. Purple cat purple cat. What

do you see? That was her. She knew how often that book gets read in our home and now every time I
