Let's all go to 2nd Peter, the third chapter, 2nd Peter 3, and the 16th verse.

2nd Peter 316. He's talking about Paul said in his epistles speaking in them of these things and which are some things hard to be understood

which they that are unlearned and unstable rest as they do also the other scriptures to their own destruction

the amplified said ignorant and unstable people twist and misconstrued to their own destruction.

Verse 17, you therefore beloved seeing you know these things before, beware lest you also being led away with the error of the wicked fall from your own steadfastness, but grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, to him be glory both now and forever. Amen.

He mentions people who twist the scriptures, people that are unlearned, ignorant.

And you know, you can have five degrees and be ignorant.

You know, you might be knowledgeable of this and be ignorant of that.

But here he's talking about being ignorant of God and ignorant of His Word.

And so because of that ignorance and because of that instability,

there are people who twist the scriptures and misconstrue them, make them say things that

the scripture didn't say. And as a result of that, there are people who have been confused

and people's faith has been undermined. And people that maybe at one point thought they were pretty confident about what they believed

and they got to listen to these people, twist the scriptures, and get confused and get unstable.

So does it matter what you listen to?

Who you listen to?

It does. Oh, it makes a huge, huge difference. Okay. does it matter what you listen to? Who you listen to?

Oh, it makes a huge, huge difference.

Some things are absolutely life.

They are life and healing and peace, and they'll lift you up and set you free and increase you.
