It was the number one showtime series for years and forever changed the way sexuality was

portrayed on cable.

Eileen Chakin, who later created the L Word, fully credits queer as folk for paving the way

for the L word to get made at all.

Hi, Jeff.

Thank you so much for doing this. I'm so excited to see both of you to be doing this

as a joint experience. You are still best friends all of these years later. Where are each of you guys?

Sadly, very far apart from one another right now. It's true. Scotty moved to New York a few years ago to kind of be closer to

his mom, who's in, who's in Connecticut. And I missed the hell out of him out here in sunny L.A.

You may be far away, but you're always close to my heart. And are you guys still tight with

the rest of the cast?

For the most part, yeah.

Yeah, we all stay pretty well connected.

We see each other a few times a year and we still do charity events together and things

like that.

You know, we keep tabs on each other and, you know, send Michelle baby gifts and harass Sharon Glass online.

Very much, yeah.
