Summary

As clay turned to grass, Andy Murray turned to Ivan Lendl, the man that helped him to his Wimbledon, US Open and Olympic titles.

In the first of our podcasts from the Aegon Championships at The Queen's Club, we talk to Murray about his reasons for reuniting with the former World Number One.

Murray also tells us about his cooking skills, and what listeners should do for a good night out in London.

Oh, and David Beckham joins us to tell us about his tennis-playing son, and how he embarrassed he felt when he walked in on an interview with Kyle Edmund.

And on the eve of the Aegon Championships, the big news is Murray and Lendle and back together.

Now, we're currently out on the tournament directors balcony, so we apologise if you hear the planes

going over. We're looking down over his centre court. The cover is across it and it is inflated

because we've had showers throughout the day. We're just keeping our fingers crossed at the

1:07.9

weather forecast we've been given. It does not come to pass and the sun shines throughout the

1:12.7

whole of the tournament. Alongside me, as I mentioned, media director for Queen's and the founder

1:17.3

of this tennis podcast, David Law, tournament director, Stephen Ferro and David, I have to start

1:21.2

with you. Can it just feels a little bit odd for me being here and you being there? How does it

1:26.2

feel for you? It feels great. I don't have to do quite so much. And particularly standing on this

balcony where I've stood on and off for 20 years, every year, looking at this incredible centre

court, at the moment it has the inflatable cover on it. We have had some on and off rain today,

1:43.4

but tomorrow morning we are going to have Carol Kirkwood from BBC Breakfast Weather here, who has

promised that the first few hours at least are going to be dry and sunny, so we're very helpful.

1:54.0

I hope so. Stephen, how happy are you that this tournament has come round once again?
