Hey guys, welcome to the Bill Barnwell show.

I am Bill Barnwell.

Today, very excited to have a guest on for the show he appears on each and every year after he writes one of my favorite articles of the entire year each and every summer.

This year we talked about it for the show a little later in August, which is fun.

This man is normally at training camp when we're haranguing him to be on the show after this

piece of work.

But talking about his excellent annual quarterback tiers column, joining me today, his friend

of the show, The Athletics, Mike Sando.

Mike, how are you?

I'm doing great. Thanks for having me on, Bill.

I look forward to our conversation every year.

And what's fun about this, too, is this is the 11th year of quarterback tiers.

So now we have like 11 years of data.

Like, it's really kind of a cool thing to have.

I enjoy that part of it. Yeah, and that's actually a perfect place to start because I think maybe the most obvious tier for any quarterback we're going to talk about here maybe is informed some by the historical context you have in going back and doing this.

And I know the athletic is behind a paywall.
