Hey there, folks, I'm Dave Holmes. Welcome to Troubled Waters, the show that treats popular culture like the most important kind of culture because it could potentially be the kind that bums you out the least.

Although that's not even a guarantee anymore. But that's beside the point. Now, in the before times, Troubled Waters would pit two teams of comedians against each other in a pop culture battle royale.

But now that we are so close

to living in a Preppers paradise and everyone on the show is recording from their respective

bunkers, we're mixing things up a bit to keep things simple and so that producer Christian can

have a life that does not involve explaining complicated mic setups. So to win this battle,

each comic, there will only be two, will be called upon to use their

smarts, their rhetorical skills, maybe the college degrees, they're still paying off to earn

the coveted troubled Waters title, Pundit Emeritus.

There's a full diploma and everything.

The PE title automatically gives a person's opinion on, let's say, whatever Lana Del Rey is doing on Instagram right now, more weight than a civilians.
