Welcome to the Paranormal Podcast. I'm Jim Harold, so glad to be with you today.

Now we're going to have something a little bit different and I think it is going to be awesome.

Because a lot of times when we talk to our friends and paranormal investigation and so forth, they'll kind of throw out the phrase

quantum physics. It's all based on quantum physics. And while I appreciate bringing science into the paranormal and that, I mean a lot of the people we interview, they're not quantum physicists.

But we have an astrophysicist on the line who's going to tell us all about quantum

physics because he has a new book out. I'm talking about Dr Charles Lou and the book is

the handy quantum physics answer book and we're so glad to have

him with us and he has an awesome background.

He's a professor of astrophysics at the City University of New York's College of

Stan the Island and associate with the Heiden Planetarium and Department of

Astrophysics at the American Museum of Natural History and host of the podcast The Luniverse with Dr Charles Lou.

I hope I got that right.

He earned degrees in astronomy, astrophysicist and physics from Harvard and the University of Arizona

and has held postdoctoral positions at Kit Peak National Observatory and at Columbia University.

His research focuses on colliding galaxies, starburks, galaxies, quasars, and the star formation history

of the universe.

In addition to his research publication, he writes for students and general audiences, he's

read multiple books including one with Neil degrass Tyson.

How awesome is that?

And this is his latest book, The Handy Quantum Physics Answer book. He is award-winning, and we're so glad to have him with us today.
