Wonderful. So did you want to give a little bit more information on the origin of numbers before you start your presentation?

It's, as you said in your introduction, it has been a lifelong passion for me.

My earliest recollections as a child were looking at the stars and asking my parents, you know,

what was that? And I'd hear all the old names before we got the Latin names. And it's brought the

sort of verbal tradition from an incredibly long time ago right up to the present day.

And I hope to be able to shed some light on that and enliven it today for the modern audience,

who perhaps are more familiar with the Latin names for the constellations and the origins

that we're told are Latin or Greek, but actually

they're an awful lot older than those origins.

Now I understand too that when you go way, way back in time, you're finding the origins

of a lot of things come from, is it the Welsh people from the British Isles?

Yes, that's correct.

Their language. I'd like to say at the very start that I don't know whether it's originated in Wales.

Welsh is the living remnant of ancient British, what I call ancient British.

It's also called common Britonic and a few other names, but I think those sorts of names

hide the origins.

So ancient British does what it says on the tin.
