This is the first of two episodes this week.

We're ramping things up.

The season's getting closer.

So we'll be two a week in August, and then we'll go to three per week during the season like we did last year.

And this is the start of our season preview series.

We're going to dedicate an episode to each position.

We always have great guests for these each year.

This year I decided to do something very specific when it came to the guest, though.

So I went out and I got the analysts who finished number one in accuracy at each position.

And today's guest, I mean, maybe the top dog of all top dogs here.

He didn't just finish number one at quarterback.

He actually prevented my attempt at a repeat to win the competition last year.

He took it home.

And I said when he was on the show last season, I think it was around maybe October, November.

And he was in first place at that point, I think. And we joked a little bit. and I said if I wasn't going to be able to do it, if somebody had to stop me, that I hope that it was going to be him, and it turned out that way. So a longtime friend of the show, Pat Fitzmorest of the Footballgirl.com. He also joined the awesome crew over at Football Guys this off season.

He's one of my favorite guys in the industry.
