So whenever we're talking about like the very foundational passages of the Quran, it's almost like a curriculum in the Quran that if somebody, if you're, if somebody's starting off to understand what are the values, what are the ethics, what are the morals that the Quran imparts, there's a few passages that we always talk about.

Surt al-Muhmuhmuhnmanun, Kada Flah Al-Muhminun passage, Suror Number 23.

And so one of those passages is always Sura number 25, the concluding passage, which

is a lot of times we refer to as Ibadurrahman, the slaves of the most merciful.

And there are more than a dozen different qualities that are listed out in that passage really awesome really beautiful i i recommend everybody

kind of read the passage and read the translation and there's so many lectures online even probably

on the column podcast that go through that particular

passage.

But there are two characteristics or two verses that are mentioned in that passage.

They're on almost opposite ends of the passage.

One is the right at the top, and the other one is towards the end.

But they both kind of intersect at a very interesting juncture

when we think about society and culture and our lives.

The first one is,

that the servants of the most merciful Allahe

that the servants of the most merciful Allah

are the ones that when they walk on the earth, they walk with humility.

Well, that's very profound, but that's not the one that we're talking about right now.

Then it says,

And that when ignorant people addressed them, they say,

Salam.

And we'll get into exactly what that means.
