Hey everybody, Rob Mauer here, and today we are going to go through my earnings preview

for Tesla's Q3 earnings report, which will be on Wednesday after market close.

Of course, do what we normally do, the live stream of the shareholder letter when that comes

out, as well as the earnings call where I'll take notes, so make sure to tune in for

that.

But today we're going to go through the numbers.

As you can see on screen here, I'm not going to hide them, I kind of already spoiled my

final number on Friday anyway.

I did slightly tweak that over the weekend, increasing it a bit, but I do want to go through

why my forecast are what they are.

We'll also take a look at analyst consensus as well.

And as you can see, I am expecting a little bit of a beat here for Tesla for Q3.

So first things before we even get into that though, we got to take a quick look at

the stock price.

I won't put it on screen, but Tesla today up 7%, so a nice recovery from the action that

we had last week, closing at $219.35, so a lot.

Pretty much in that range where we closed at oftentimes last week, but sure feels better

after an up 7% day.

The NASDAQ today up about 3.5% so Tesla performing almost the two X beta that we're kind of used

to seeing.

Alright, so getting into the earnings preview here, first we'll just go through some

of the numbers that I'm forecasting.
