Hey everybody Rob, now we're here and today we are going to go through our Q2 2021 Tesla

earnings preview.

I'm going to go through all of my estimates as well as as you can see on screen here

the analyst consensus estimates and we'll see how we compare and if Tesla might beat

earnings for Q2.

Before we get into that though, a couple of reminders here.

So if you are an audio listener, this is pretty spreadsheet heavy obviously with being

an earnings preview.

So I'll put the link to the video down in the show notes, check that out, probably a little

bit easier to listen to than just the audio in this case.

And then as we talk about every quarter, really the reason that we do these earnings previews

is just to get an understanding and provide context for what Tesla actually ends up reporting,

which is obviously going to happen on Monday.

So the reason I want to walk through the details of these and try to predict some of these

things is just so that when we get the numbers, we have a better understanding of what

they mean and most importantly, what they mean for Tesla's future, not necessarily just

trying to isolate in on this one quarter.

So we'll talk about some of the details behind that train of thought as we go through.

But other than that, let's get started here.

So I think you guys can hopefully see this pretty well, it's a little bit simpler than

the production tracking spreadsheet, but we're just going to go through top level numbers.
