that Mary Langston shares her podcast with me.

but I'm grateful for the diminished role

that I still have and hopefully I can continue to participate by making some effort to answer your questions

which in all seriousness I do love it. It's one of my favorite parts of the week is I get to hear what's on your mind and I get to take a crack at telling you what I think.

So without further ado, Miss Mary Langston.

Hey Trey, how are you?

I'm doing great. I'm doing great. I enjoyed your reflection on Veterans Day and I want to wish our listeners a significant veterans day. I liked how you said that. Well, thank you for saying that. That was a very

inspirational story to to hear from Frank about his brother Stephen and you know I had not forgotten that my father you know served in uniform is just when I think of him I think of a doctor well I actually think of my dad the man that taught me to play golf but also think also think of him as a doctor, but he served in the Air Force and you know back in the day we had a draft. I mean you were drafted into service. It wasn't volunteer like it is now and I do wonder whether our country would be different

if we set aside a little bit of time

in each of our lives to serve our fellow Americans

and serve the country.

I wonder if we might have more appreciation

for our country if we actually served it more.

But that's not what you wanted to talk about.
