The somber tone is two full,

the aftermath of Helene in the Carolinas in other states. I'm most acutely aware of what

happened in the Carolinas but there are lots of people still suffering from the aftermath of Helene and Milton is in Florida and it also looks devastating.

So I am normally well I'm not normally cheery that would be Mary

Langston I'm normally cynical but I am more somber than normal because there's a lot of pain and anguish and

uncertainty that already exists and it looks like probably more to come.

So with that very moral bond opening, Mary Langston, how are you?

I'm doing all right. You said that well, Trey tray and I did want to highlight your Tuesday

podcast you said that beautifully as well something that you said in that podcast was

some cover up the lightness we see with the darkness of politics. I thought that was a wise statement and you're right. It is a somber time with all of the hurricanes that are coming and the one tonight,

because we're recording this a little bit early.

But I'm definitely thinking of those that are affected by the storm that came

and those that will be affected by the storm that's coming.

Yeah, it is, you know, it's a whole separate conversation about all the things that humankind can do, but control nature is not one of them.

Nature will win every time, just like age and time.

Father time is undefeated and mother nature is undefeated.

Well said Trey, well our first question is actually highlighting some of the hurricane that we had in our area.
