What is your opinion on victim impact statements, whether the victim or the victim's family express forgiveness or desire severe punishments?

Oh, Ralph, that's a great question. It is completely appropriate. And I would really defy anyone. I've had plenty of debates with people about the propriety of victim impact statements.

But there not only is it not inappropriate, it is completely appropriate for victims or, you know, and homicide cases or in cases where the victim is incapacitated, the family members of the victim.
