Good morning and welcome to the Independent Republic of Mike Graham right here on Talk Radio.

It's all about finessing this morning right here on the Independent Republic.

We will be finessing the Theresa May situation because she has, the Prime Minister of this country,

has pretty much won the debate now. I think she's well on the way to convincing everyone that her deal is the only way forward. She's on the way to convincing the MPs who voted against

her last time and don't forget there were 230 of them, that actually her deal is not going to end up

with everybody being unhappy. And in fact, if you can get rid of the backstop scenario,

in fact, she will probably have some kind of a deal

which everybody can get around and get behind.

We'll be talking to several pundits this morning.

We'll get a couple of politicians on as well

to tell us precisely how the meaningful vote is going to go.

We are only a week away from it, of course.

Meanwhile, Jeremy Corbyn is trying

to convince everybody around him that in fact he does have some speculation about whether or not

we should be leaving the European Union, even though we know that he actually really wants to do

it. He's now saying maybe it's time for another referendum. We'll be speaking to Professor

Anand Menon this morning because a brilliant report has just come out from his organisation called the UK in a changing Europe.
