Eating right when I wake up or waiting until I'm hungry.

I think this is such an excellent question and one that I've been answering for the past 12, 13, 14, 15 years

as a dietitian. And I'm going to give you the same answer that I give everybody else. And that is,

it really depends on your body. And here's the things I want you to consider. So some people feel

better eating within an hour of waking up. That is me. Like I need to eat almost 30 minutes of waking up because if I wait, it's not a pretty picture. I start getting angry, angry, moody, and it's really hard to recoup throughout the day. So it is like an absolute non-negotiable. And what's interesting is when I was a kid, up until I would say like college,

I never ate breakfast. I just felt like I wasn't hungry, it didn't have time. And so I say that

to say that your body can actually change and adapt. And now I feel so much better if I have breakfast.
