voter ID is here to stay, given the admission by Jacob Rees-Mogg that they were indeed gerrymandering?

Great word. As well as the fact it resulted in many more people being excluded from voting

than were ever convicted of voter fraud. Great question.

It is a good question.

Yes, I do think voter ID is here to stay because it's very hard to kind of put a modernisation process, so-called, back in the box.

I don't think it was necessary at all.

I think the notion that it was introduced to stop electoral fraud is manifestly false because the scale

of electoral fraud in this country is minute.
