in. Here's one from a listener we'll call Jeremy via Patreon. We always prioritize our questions

and messages that come in on patreon.com slash backcountry from our

loyal listeners and members there. Jeremy writes, update on the Remington 700, 204 Ruger. So he's doing a

custom project on a Remington 700. I found a take-off HS Precision LRT stock for $295.

So that should be shipping this week.

And I responded to Jeremy and more or less said that HS is a nice talk.

And stepping out of my message, my response here to Jeremy for a minute,

HS precision was one of the first adopters of carbon fiber and fiberglass and other fiber-based

composite stocks engineered for maximum

rigidity and designed for ergonomics that address a range of purposes, I suppose.

They have everything from the real precision geared stuff, such as the stocks on, if I'm not mistaken, on the early

SWAT team sniper rifles, which were the Remington 700P and then the later PLTR, light

tactical rifle and so forth, if I'm not mistaken, those are HS stocks, right up through some lightweight, classically

styled traditional type stocks.
