He continues, I have a vintage rifle question or two. I recently came into a 1950-to-1951 Winchester Model 70 Supergrade in 30-06. It's in fantastic shape, and I do intend to

hunt with it. My question, really thinking out loud here more than anything, is about

ammunition. Should I try something more period correct, like a traditional cup and core bullet,
