Well, I think in light of some of the later things that we've been seeing from Trump, one can't be so sure.

But my own personal view is probably not.

And I think this is a problem with this administration, which is that it doesn't maintain

tight discipline over what people say.

And this isn't Trump's fault. If it's the fault of anybody,

it's of Trump's chief of staff. One hears an awful lot about Susie Wiles and what a good

chief of staff she is. But I think more discipline on messaging would be welcome.

Do they know that there will be no way back if they work?

When I bring it up with the war pigs, they get a screensaver look. How can

reality get through in a zero-sum game of mad? Before it was a defeat, there was time to adjust.

Now decisions got to be made under a minute, no time to dislodge hatreds and delusions.

I mean, playing a game of chicken with the Russians in the way that some people want to do is beyond reckless.

I mean, it is reckless to the point of being completely irrational.
