I'm from Milwaukee. Just wanted to know what the motivation was of anything into investigating

Crystal's case. Just wanted to know what the motivation or if anything sparked any kind of

intrigue about Crystal's case. Thanks and keep up the good work.

Initially, what intrigued me the most about Crystal's case was that she was a person

that mainstream media likely would not cover very heavily. For a couple of reasons, one because

Crestone is a very tiny place and it's not close to any big cities. There's a few news outlets

out there at all. Then also, she was different as a person. She looked different. She had tattoos.

She had earrings. She was part of a crowd that was not mainstream. What I found is that the media

usually covers stories about victims that are, quote-on-quote, extremely relatable.

Because of those two reasons, I thought that we could make a difference here in spotlight a case
