You're counting well today. Oh, good. I'm glad. Let's give this a try. Starting now with

Patrick. Hi, bros. I've been a fan since I first started watching your show on TV and reruns in the

late 70s. And in all this time, I don't think I've encountered anything as strange from the bunch as their cover of Don McLean's song, American Pie, included on the 1972 Meet the Brady Bunch album.

I can't put my finger on it, but there's just something uncanny about hearing the Brady kids, he says, sing a song about the loss of innocence and making references

to Helter Skelter and fallout shelters. Do the bros have any memories, it's always funny

of saying fallout shelters, but apparently not. Do the bros have any memories of recording

this song, how they felt about it? And how do they feel about it now? Was it really the day the music died? Thanks.

Assuming that we had a consciousness of what the song was about at the time,

Barry might have had some clue, but it was just a catchy song

with some phrases in it that rhymed.
