We search out all those science secrets that are lurking around the solar system into the galaxy and then further many millions of light years away.

We are headed this week. Well, here's something fun. Well, something fungi.

Fungi, fungi. Jassy Dracolich is on. She's a fungi expert talking all about marvellous mushrooms.

Every time a leaf falls from a tree, what happens to it?

It wouldn't go anywhere if it wasn't for things like fungi.

So they break down that leaf and make it into a big pile of mush.

And then they can reabsorb. They can suck up some of those things that have been released from the leaf.

And then other things like slugs and snails can come and eat on the leftovers.

So by breaking down something that has now died, all of those products to go back into something else is alive.

So they're kind of drawing up the dead material, just feed it back into the living material.
