Summary
Fear of people keeps us trapped, but faith in Christ sets us free. Our worth isn’t earned by performance; it’s secured by His grace. When you rest in His approval, you can finally stop pretending and live free.
Fear of man prevents freedom
Faith in Christ provides freedom
Life Group Discussion:

In what ways do you find yourself trying to “earn” God’s love instead of resting in Christ’s finished work?

| 0:10.0 | place every single year at the beginning of the year, typically in, like, the Atlanta Falcons |
| 0:15.2 | stadiums. There's 65, 70,000 college students that descend onto this arena to go and hear the teaching of the word. |

He's like, we were talking and we want to go on the stage. I'm like, what do you mean? You want to go on the state? We can't go just go on the stage. And they said, no, we're going to go on the stage. I'm like, what are you talking about? They're like, we're going to go down there right now, and we're going to go on the stage. I'm like, we can't do that. And they're like, no, we absolutely can. And here's the one rule. It's going to work to perfection. You just need to make sure that you keep this one rule in mind. Just act like you belong. Like if you just go down there and act like |
| 1:30.1 | you're supposed to be there, no one's even going to notice. So I'm like, sure, give it a shot. |

| 1:45.7 | and he's like about to get on the elevator. We get off the elevator. My heart's beating like crazy, |
| 1:50.6 | just telling myself the whole time, okay, just act like you belong, act like you belong, act like |
| 1:55.4 | you're supposed to be here. There's all these like famous Christians around me, and then there's |
| 1:58.9 | me and my backpack, just excited to be there. |
| 2:01.8 | And then we walk up towards the stage. And on the stage, where the speakers for the next day, they were doing mic checks and whatnot. Eventually, they stopped doing mic checks, and we're just like, okay, this is our moment. And I'm just telling myself, okay, just act like you belong. Act like you belong. One of my friends hands a security guard, his phone, said, |
