Russia's president Vladimir Putin has praised the, quote, friendly talks between his country

and the U.S. on ending the war in Ukraine.

In general, as I was told, the atmosphere was very friendly.

As our participants told me, there were completely different people on the American side

who were open to the negotiation process without any bias.

Keefe was cut out of the first U.S. discussions with Russia.

And just hours later, Trump rubbed salt into the wound by blaming Ukraine for Russia's

invasion.

And Trump echoed another one of Putin's talking points, that it was time for an election

in Ukraine.

But the country's president, Vlomir Zelensky, is accusing Trump of spreading disinformation.

I would like Trump's team to have more truth.

All of this definitely does not have a positive impact on Ukraine. They are letting Putin out of isolation.

A federal judge in New York will consider the Justice Department's controversial motion to dismiss

the corruption charges against New York City Mayor Eric Adams, a move that had the top prosecutor on the

case accusing Adams and the Trump administration of a quid pro quo.

Adams denies this, but prosecutors and city deputy mayors resigned in protest because of the order,

and calls for Adams to step down or for the governor to oust him are growing.
