cast, so knock on wood, but as the 2024 campaign moves out of rapid unprecedented change phase

and into a more traditional rhythm, the second convention, debates, rallies, perhaps even a few questions over policy.

I'm not sure how many actual policy rollouts we're going to get,

but I'll get to that in a minute.

But one of the harder challenges for both candidates is going to be

what should be done about Russia, because that is going to be what should be done

about Russia because that's going to be on the next president's desk no matter

which one of them gets elected. My guest today is Ambassador John Sullivan. He was the

Biden administration's first ambassador of Russia serving from 2020 to 2022 and

he was also Donald Trump's last ambassador to Russia.

He's one of those rare people who can work in both a Republican and Democratic administration

and perhaps one of the few areas where you could see some day.

It's usually a national security that you see

some bipartisan hole over.
