It's so hot. This last week, we were in the 111. My car was at 112 one day. So what do you do in the evenings if you're not? You got to go find water if you're going to be outside. So thank God we have lakes. And we went to Whiskey Town Lake and we brought, we have a double kayak, went out there just in the evening. It was so fun. And we brought our dog. We have a little border collie,

and we thought, I think he'll be fine on the kayak. And it was the cutest thing. We just put

them on the kayak my feet, and we kayaked all around the lake and had so much fun. It was just

amazing. So I come back feeling very refreshed and thankful and very needed because it has been a journey.

Oh, my, my.

Talk about my growth and leadership.

I have had lots of trials.

I have had lots of practicing, of making things up, transitioning.

This has been the season in the year of pivot. How fast can you

pivot every single, actually half day, a couple hours? We're just changing directions, figuring out

new plans. And by the time our vacation time came, we were very, very, very ready. So thank God

for health and for rest. So if you need any type of rest,

please go get it. We are in this for the long haul, and I just feel thankful to have time to

breathe and come back feeling very fresh. When we left, you know, we were, it's funny, we were digging

in so hard, just responding to all the stuff that's been going on.

And we were hosting Unity Night and having conversations and figuring out what does it look like

to stand and to move forward in this season where there's so much pain being uncovered and injustice

being uncovered. What is, how do we do this, how do we lead in this, what is our responsibility?

And so before I left on vacation, that was like full bore what we were doing in the midst of
