Victor Davis Hanson, one of America's best known and most prolific historians, living a fascinating

life growing up on a fifth generation family farm in Selma, California.

In his untold story, he talks about his twin brother, who has completely opposite views, his new book, The Case for Trump, and his predictions for the upcoming 2020 elections.

Here's Victor Davis Hanson's untold story.

Well, I'm the fifth generation to live in the same house. My great-great-grandmother came

into California in 1870, and our families lived there ever since. So I had a weird grandfather,

and he had three daughters. My mother was one of them. And he thought that he didn't have any

males. So he mortgaged his farm in the 30s and sent all of them to Stanford. And then they got,

my mom was the first appellate court judge, second in the state female from Stanford. So he was a very

strange guy for not going to college. So I had these very educated aunts and mother. But I also lived in a farm. So we got a message. You had to be educated, but you can't forget where you came from. You had to do physical work. And then when I got into classics, that was sort of the message of the Greeks physical work. Don't remember, don't forget who you were, but you have to be educated and inquisitive.

So it was sort of a strained effort to be physical and mental at the same time.

It's hard to square that sometimes.

That's a very interesting connection between those two things.

And as Americans, many Americans don't do a lot of sort of hand physical labor anymore.
