Hello everybody.

Good to have you. Good to have you on a Thursday before the Thursday.

You know, I must say, and I probably have said it before, but this night of the year is always the coziest.

I never take it off. Why would you take the night before Thanksgiving off

unless you just decided to take the whole week off? But I love doing a show on the night before

Thanksgiving. You know why? Because I know that there are some of you who have plans. You wanted to go

out, you do a little bit of bar hopping. I never did that. Maybe we picked one bar.

I don't know anybody who goes, I didn't understand the people who wanted to get absolutely

trashed the night before Thanksgiving so that the next day you're just destroyed. It's over.

But what I like to envision is that there's a whole bunch of people out there who are either

watching live or on their own time on demand that are working throughout the night, preparing

some of their sides, basting the turkey. I've got my turkey in the brine right now. Tomorrow

we'll start injecting it like it's being you know it's being executed it's already dead

but we're going to inject it with more stuff tomorrow a chardonnay a shardinay a chartine italian

dressing kind of a mix see how juicy this bird is going to be but um i like envisioning

this night just kind of like chilling out while you guys and

gals at home are cleaning the house or preparing yourself for what you're going to be doing the next day.

And it's my favorite. It really is. As far as just chill out holidays with your family,

I love Thanksgiving because it's essentially Christmas with none of the financial pressure

of gifts and as you go throughout the day it's not as depressing to say goodbye to Thanksgiving

because then you are given over gently and warmly into the hands of absolute official Christmas
