Summary

It is Thanksgiving Eve 2024, and even with so much still hanging in the balance for mankind, I’d say we have plenty to be grateful for. Our featured guest tonight is Matt Dawson ( https://dawsonspeak.com/ ), who transformed himself from a man in the corporate rat race into a world-record holding endurance athlete. We are going to discuss the value of physical struggle in overcoming life challenges, and how we can all apply this in 2025. J Gulinello (PerpetualHealth.co) is in studio to co-pilot this expedition, with some stimulating extra content in the second half. Happy Thanksgiving! I never take it off. Why would you take the night before Thanksgiving off

0:39.3

unless you just decided to take the whole week off? But I love doing a show on the night before

0:45.1

Thanksgiving. You know why? Because I know that there are some of you who have plans. You wanted to go

0:50.2

0:56.3

I don't know anybody who goes, I didn't understand the people who wanted to get absolutely

1:00.3

trashed the night before Thanksgiving so that the next day you're just destroyed. It's over.

1:06.7

But what I like to envision is that there's a whole bunch of people out there who are either

1:12.2

watching live or on their own time on demand that are working throughout the night, preparing

1:17.1

some of their sides, basting the turkey. I've got my turkey in the brine right now. Tomorrow

1:23.7

1:37.2

dressing kind of a mix see how juicy this bird is going to be but um i like envisioning

1:42.9

this night just kind of like chilling out while you guys and

1:45.6

gals at home are cleaning the house or preparing yourself for what you're going to be doing the next day.

1:50.5

And it's my favorite. It really is. As far as just chill out holidays with your family,

1:55.8

I love Thanksgiving because it's essentially Christmas with none of the financial pressure

2:02.0

of gifts and as you go throughout the day it's not as depressing to say goodbye to Thanksgiving

2:09.1

because then you are given over gently and warmly into the hands of absolute official Christmas
