0:11.6	we've got Elon Musk and Tesla pushing back against the SEC and we have the National Highway
0:16.1	Traffic Safety Administration that's opening up an investigation into Tesla's autopilot
0:20.5	for phantom braking.
0:21.5	Got some negative headlines from Consumer Reports.
0:24.2	We do actually have a little bit of good news out of Giga Texas and a couple other items
0:27.9	as well.
0:28.9	About many positives in the market today Tesla finishing down 5.1% to $876.35 and Nasdaq
0:35.0	was down 2.9% on the day.
0:37.8	Alright let's start off with the court action so what we've got here is a letter today
0:40.9	from a lawyer representing Tesla and Elon Musk to the court that ruled over the SEC and
0:45.6	Tesla slash Elon settlement over the going private tweet.
0:49.7	Now as we recall that settlement ruled that Tesla and Elon both owed $20 million to resolve
0:55.2	that case there was no admission of guilt or anything like that.
0:58.1	Elon had to agree to step down as chairman of the board for Tesla and had to agree to
1:02.0	those restrictions on some of his public communication which we've talked about many times.
1:06.3	As for that $40 million that was supposed to be redistributed to Tesla shareholders.
1:10.3	I do not recall getting my check for that and it's because I didn't neither did you.
1:14.8	This letter reads quote simply stated the SEC has failed to comply with its promise to
1:18.3	pay Tesla shareholders the $40 million that collected as part of the settlement in these
1:21.6	cases and that it reports to be holding for them.
1:24.6	Instead it has been devoting its formidable resources to endless unfounded investigations
