The other day was on a podcast with Evan Carmichael,

who was a YouTuber and entrepreneur.

And we were talking with Shaquille, who was the host,

about the mental side of the entrepreneurial journey,

how we set goals, but also prepare ourselves

for the inevitable adversity associated with growth.

And one question, Shaquille asked us was, where do we see ourselves in five years?

Okay, so side note, I have a unique relationship with this question.

As someone who was unsure in experimenting with their career, right, for much of their adult life,

I never quite knew how to answer it.

You know, it's like two things can be true at once.

It's a very reasonable question.

But I also didn't like answering it, right?

Hated it to my core, you could even say.

I could never really articulate why.

It just made me uneasy, right?

Like five years of lifetime.

How am I supposed to know?

And again, no knock on the host at all.

It's a very common and practical question.

I'm glad he asked it because it
