Hey, everybody, it's Ron Bain with the Hunting Dog podcast.

If you can, if you can tell a little

scratchiness in my my voice um well that's part of the explanation why my episodes have

been coming off pretty irregular in april um probably still going to get another one off uh next

wed wednesday but i i here's what happened I'm not the smartest guy in the world.

Okay. Let's just get that right out of the, you know, right of the gate. I think those of you who know me,

and I mean, a lot of listeners know me from the Zoom rooms and from Feasant Fest and from some of them

even hunt with me. No one's ever going to accuse me of being the genius, but I was feeling pretty snotty, and I had a

cold, and instead of staying home and kind of nursing it up and doubling up on my vitamins

and living in the sauna, I took off for Virginia to do a little work on my place down there,

and I had to do some excavation work and it was

that cold turned into acute bronchitis I had to go to the dock in the box when I got down to

Virginia coughing my head off for nights on end ended up with laryngitis I had a I had a pass up on doing another person's podcast because I literally had no voice to do it with.

So, yeah, I'm not the smartest knife in the drawer, but I know, I know that my listeners are the smartest listeners, because I know that every one of my listeners unless you're like brand new and

you just got your first dog and you said you googled what do i do with my first bird dog okay and then

maybe you know the podcast came up if if that's not you i know you're smart because you already have
