Hello there, my brothers and sisters. How you doing out there today? This is the morning mindset.

Hope you're ready to get your mind aligned with the truth of God's work, because that's what we're doing here.

We're looking at 1st Peter chapter 1,000 and 23, so get out your Bibles. If you have a morning mindset journal,

please get it out as well. I want to point your attention, though, before we get there to some

books that I've written. I've written all kinds of books, Christian growth, oriented books,

other things like that, even a children's book. But today I want to focus on a fictional series

that I've written. It's about dragons,

dragon slayers, what it might have been like if dragons really existed in this world,

All right, friends, let's go back to 1st Peter chapter 1,000 23 and ask our God to illuminate our hearts with

His word today. Lord Jesus, we get so embroiled in our own struggles, our own conflicts

inside of our own soul, and we want you to free us up from that today. But teaching us from your

word how our lives can be used as an

instrument, a channel, a vehicle of your love for other people. Reveal it to us today and apply it.

In Jesus' name, amen. Okay, friends, 1st Peter 1.22 through 23. Peter says this, having purified your souls by your

obedience to the truth, for a sincere brotherly love, love one another earnestly from a pure heart,

since you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of

imperishable through the living and abiding Word of God. So as Peter is describing to us here,

what's happened to us, that through our faith in Jesus, our obedience to the truth there that he mentions is our belief in Jesus.
