Hello, dear listeners, and welcome to a new episode of Purefield Radio. I'm Josephine,

your host, and today's topic is How to spot a false guru.

Of course, as we're all moving towards enlightenment and trying to navigate this path of spiritual awakening,

we often seek external help in the form of a spiritual teacher, a mentor, a healer.

But how can you find someone and choose to work with someone

who's the real deal and who will genuinely assist you and support you? I will say from my own

experience and perspective as a spiritual healer, doing this kind of work with people is not always easy.

And it requires me to do a lot of work on myself.

So I'm always having to do work on myself first.

And I do that by consulting with healers and teachers who have more experience than me.

I do that by getting trained in different modalities and approaches.

I do that by reading a lot in psychology, spirituality, quantum physics, medicine,

all of these different topics.

And I do that by being in therapy myself because I also need to be aware of my own blind spots

and shadows and limitations in order to help my clients.

So being a spiritual teacher who is truly committed to the work and who takes the work seriously

is not easy. It's not glamorous.
