Isenti and these are Puerto Rico's top news for the day. We start up with an

FBI investigation according to sources from El Bosoero, the FBI is investigating

the Puerto Rico National Guard. It's actually expanding an ongoing investigation.

So during the period of the National Guard and some of its members apparently abused their powers

and did things like using a military power generator and giving it to a civilian who was a friend and coworker

of one of the National Guard's leaders.

So the FBI started this investigation

looking particularly into that incident,

but it is expanding the investigation

because they found that the National Guard

has just been being run like,

in a really possibly corrupt matter for a couple of years.

They're finding contracts that might be legal.

They're finding political favors,

people selling their influence for money,

even like just promoting friends and family members

or people in exchange for payouts.

So it's a really serious investigation and it's going on and it's being expanded as we speak.

Our next news is recovery funds for Puerto Rico are taking longer than expected.

So the Puerto Rican government has just received just has received just 19% of the federal funds

that they expected to receive
