You can't go abroad. You can't go to the shops.

You can't even go to Wales, for heaven's sake. You can't go for dinner next door. You can't go out for lunch. But wait, what's that I see on the horizon? Is it some kind of cloud or is it something else? Apparently you can go to the pub. But you'll have to sit outside and you have to prove that you've had a vaccine or you won't be able to get a drink. Well, that's all right then, isn't it? Yesterday, Boris Johnson let slip that pub landlords could insist on a vaccine passport before letting anyone into their establishment,

that the idea should not be, in his words, totally alien to us. Well, I'm sorry, Boris, but it's

totally alien to me. Yes, that's right. The Prime Minister, formerly known as a libertarian

conservative, has rubber-stamped the most draconian measure yet

when things finally start easing next month.

Makes you wonder why so many people disagreed with me yesterday when I said that Boris had lost

the plot and should be replaced.
