Good evening everybody. My name is Steve Jan. I am the senior editor and writer at Behold Israel.

And you are at the public reading of Scripture. And this is a night that we celebrate God's

word. It's one that I love because I have such a passion for the word of God. And this is the

time where it's less us and much more what God has to say. So as we step into this and I'll tell

you right now, we have got a short book tonight. We have the book of Haggai and just two chapters,

but it packs a punch. It is wonderful because it's God saying, hey, I love you guys, but

you got to get your priorities right. So we're going to look at that, but before we get to that,

I am going to invite in one of my favorite people because she is the prayer heart of Behold Israel.

Yes. And you were telling me that this was a perfect book for us to be doing tonight,

because you've got a connection to it for right now, don't you?

Yeah, actually our church, we have like a Friday night Bible study each week and we just happen

to be in Haggai. Perfect timing. Yes. Well, as we mentioned earlier, the the exiles had returned

back to Jerusalem and Zerobelhead had led them there and they started building the temple.
