Summary

Public figures are fair game when it comes to criticism and free speech.  Period.  But that's not stopping a new columnist at the KC Star from complaining about Patrick Mahomes' circle for being blasted... all while blasting private citizens.   Hilarious.    KU had little trouble with West Virginia Saturday night and they have a stranglehold on the Big 12.  Next victim, K-State Tuesday night as the Jayhawks can pretty much end Bruce Weber's tenure with a lopsided win.    Amazingly, reliably liberal media outlets and reporters are starting to ask real questions.  It's not unusual for NBC's Chuck Todd to ask questions about Trump only now... he's asking the Secretary of State about Trump and you won't believe the question.    And while the truckers have been arrested in Canada, American truckers are headed to DC.  But they have a huge problem the Canadian truckers did not.  We'll explain.

We were a month late for a myriad reasons in celebrating my wife Jessica's

buy dinner somewhere or lunch or just sometimes it could be Taco Bell. It doesn't matter,

And so Jessica was enjoying this. And the server overheard us mentioning that, hey, it's Jessica's

birthday. She can order whatever she wants or something like that. This says, oh, we get free dessert here.

1:11.8

And I jumped in.

1:12.4

I said, no, the birthday was like almost four weeks ago. We're way late in celebrating. She said, it doesn't matter. If that's where you're here celebrating, this is when you can get together. You get a free dessert. Oh, my God. My mom got so excited because they have these donut things. and an olive garden for dessert you dip in chocolate.

But I digress. After we were done, we had separate cars. My wife went and did some shopping. And I went back to my mom's apartment and helped her with a couple of things around the apartment. And it got a little bit later in the day. One of the things I was working with her on was her sound bar on her TV that I put up for her.

2:03.6

She's been having a little trouble hearing. She's having to turn it up really loud. I said, maybe if we get you a quality sound bar instead of just the sound coming out of the TV, maybe that will help you out. So she's had that for about three weeks or so. And she's having trouble discerning some of the sounds. I said, let me come up and listen to it. And there were a few other things around the apartment to do.

2:18.8

We start watching and we resolve all that. And then the Daytona 500 comes on. And I don't think my mom's ever watched a race. And I watched the first stage with her, the first 65 laps and helped explain some of it to her. that there's going to be a crash here. There's going to be a lot of crashes in this race today.
