Today is the December 24th episode of Solidarity Fridays.

We had a massive technical issue and lost half of our episode today.

We actually found an amazing patent attorney to help us comment on

and analyze better the Compass Pathways patent situation on a certain type of crystalline form

of psilocybin packaged with some sort of microchrystin glucose or cellulose or something.

It was a great analysis and really helpful for

understanding the situation. So we'll try to get you that again soon. Again, apologies for not

getting it this time around, but we'll get that to you soon. Today on the show, Kyle and I,

spending about 30, 40 minutes talking about other news, maybe a little bit too much

about the Colorado ballot initiatives related to psychedelics. Kyle Yeager from Airwana Moment

wrote some great analysis there. This group, the new approach pack is in the mix. They have been

operating in Colorado at least for all of 2021 from what I recall,

maybe longer. And they're doing some interesting stuff. There's also a new school in Austin,

University, Texas, Austin. Dell Medical School is starting their own psychedelic research

organization inside the medical school. So that's lovely. Also some updates on

the psyched substance YouTuber probably stopping for a bit. Really interesting post he did

kind of with a lot of honesty. So if you're curious, check that one out. And there was also a really great section here discussing ketamine in Colorado.

So in 2019, the police, a couple police officers in Aurora, Colorado were effectively responsible for the death of this gentleman, Elijah.

And ketamine was in the mix.

And ketamine got a lot of press at this point.
