Well, I had done an entire recording on Pritchin the Choir. Good morning. Welcome to Pridgin the Choir.

Recorded a whole episode and then at the very end it was interrupted by a gentleman who was picking up a tiller that I had on Facebook Marketplace.

I didn't realize he was coming this morning and he walked in and said,

oh, I'm sorry. Am I interrupted? And I said, no, sir. I can finish it when I'm done?

I said, can I help you? And he said, I'm here to pick up the tiller. And he said, well,

what were you working on? I said, oh, I do this Sunday episode called preaching the

choir. I just talk about life and God. And he said, how did you find God? And I said, oh,

we're going straight into it. This gentleman's 83 years old, walking around like a boss firm handshake good man this is how'd you

find God I said you know I grew up and my mom was trying to find God and I think I got the

benefit of that I walked with God early as a child, was saved in a Baptist church

in North Carolina as a young, young man. My life's never been in the same sense. And I said, what about you?

How did you find God, sir?

He said, well, I went off to Vietnam, and I thought, I realized that having been to war myself,

that's where you'd likely find God.

He goes, no, I didn't find God there.

He said, oh, he goes, I find God. He goes, no, I didn't find God there. He said, oh.

He goes, I knew God.

He grew up in the church in Idaho,

but he didn't have a relationship with God.

He went to Vietnam, and that didn't change anything.

It just traumatized him because he had post-traumatic stress

as a combat medic in Vietnam.
